PhD, MBA holders among 13, 000 applicants that applied for Dangote truck driving jobs

In what may be shocking but true, the Dangote Group has said that PhD and MBA Holders were among the over 13,000 applicants who applied for the recent Graduate Executive Truck Driver vacancy. The company said it was satisfied with the quality and quantity of applications they have received, stating that its plan was to empower its Graduate Executive Truck Drivers. Chairman of the company and Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote revealed this on Thursday in Abuja at a World Bank Youth Forum. The forum organized by the Coordinator, Rotimi Olawale and headed by the World Bank Country Director, Marie Francoise Marie-Nelly, was set up to engage the government, business men and women in order to share business ideas and development that can impact positively on Nigeria and Africa. Woman Killed and Burned over Suspected Witchcraft

Santa Barbara, Columbia – A woman suspected of practicing witchcraft was murdered and her body burned in the Colombian town of Santa Barbara. Maria Berenice Martinez’s naked body was found inside her house with blows to  the skull, her hair ripped out and burn marks. The killers had tied the door shut with a rope so she couldn’t  escape. People in the town said Martínez used witchcraft to make young people  sick. Her neighbors had called her a witch since 1998, but  began to distrust her even more in March of last year, when three young women  from the area said Martínez had appeared in their dreams.  Full Article

US man with huge penis stopped at airport

A man known for his enormous penis was stopped by security at San Francisco International Airport and questioned about the bulge in his pants. Jonah Falcon, 41, has an organ which is 9.5 inches long when flaccid and 13 inches (33 centimeters) erect, according to Rolling Stone magazine. He has featured in a number of documentaries about the world's biggest penises. He was returning to New York from San Francisco when he was stopped, after Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents saw a bulge hanging down over his left upper thigh. Man told friends to set his head on fire at a bar, so they did

 A Georgia man was injured  after allegedly goading his friends to set his head on fire while drinking at a  local bar. WJBF reports investigators were originally told by 36-year-old William  Bonner’s friends that a group of attackers had set Bonner’s head on fire after  he had gotten in a fight with them at an Augusta bar. However, investigators say they believe Bonner actually encouraged his  friends to set his head on fire by dousing it with Bacardi 151 rum. A  surveillance video from the bar obtained by WJBF shows it took two tries  before Bonner was ignited.

Man Accused of Biting Boy’s Face

Texas – A Houston-area man has been accused of grabbing an 11-year-old boy and biting him on the face. Records show 70-year-old Abdus Sattar of Spring has been charged with injury to a child in the incident. Authorities say the boy told investigators he was riding his go-kart when a man flagged him down. A criminal complaint says the man grabbed by the boy, kissed him and bit his cheeks. The child ran away and told his parents, who called authorities. Asst. Chief Deputy Mark Herman of the Harris County Constable’s Office said Monday that the boy suffered facial bruises.

Madonna pretends to shoot audience despite ban

Scotland – Apparently moving to Europe completely erased any trace of sensitivity in Madonna, because the 50-year-old singer went onstage at a concert in Scotland over the weekend waving revolvers and assault rifles in the wake of Friday’s shootings in Colorado, despite being asked nicely by the local cops not to do so. At her first show in Scotland ever, in Edinburgh, she joked the concert may be “cut off” because she was going to flout laws against waving dummy weapons put in place after the Dunblane massacre, a 1996 bloodbath in which a 43-year-old man walked into a primary school and killed 16 children and one adult before killing himself.
