US man with huge penis stopped at airport

A man known for his enormous penis was stopped by security at San Francisco International Airport and questioned about the bulge in his pants. Jonah Falcon, 41, has an organ which is 9.5 inches long when flaccid and 13 inches (33 centimeters) erect, according to Rolling Stone magazine. He has featured in a number of documentaries about the world's biggest penises. He was returning to New York from San Francisco when he was stopped, after Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents saw a bulge hanging down over his left upper thigh. "They wanted to know if I had something in my pockets, and when I said no, they asked if I had some sort of growth," he said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. He told them it was his penis, and they checked around his crotch, although not too closely. He was delayed for five minutes. The incident was not his first. "I've gone through the (scanner) before, and ...

Man told friends to set his head on fire at a bar, so they did

Image
A Georgia man was injured  after allegedly goading his friends to set his head on fire while drinking at a  local bar. WJBF reports investigators were originally told by 36-year-old William  Bonner’s friends that a group of attackers had set Bonner’s head on fire after  he had gotten in a fight with them at an Augusta bar. However, investigators say they believe Bonner actually encouraged his  friends to set his head on fire by dousing it with Bacardi 151 rum. A  surveillance video from the bar obtained by WJBF shows it took two tries  before Bonner was ignited.

Man Accused of Biting Boy’s Face

Image
Texas – A Houston-area man has been accused of grabbing an 11-year-old boy and biting him on the face. Records show 70-year-old Abdus Sattar of Spring has been charged with injury to a child in the incident. Authorities say the boy told investigators he was riding his go-kart when a man flagged him down. A criminal complaint says the man grabbed by the boy, kissed him and bit his cheeks. The child ran away and told his parents, who called authorities. Asst. Chief Deputy Mark Herman of the Harris County Constable’s Office said Monday that the boy suffered facial bruises.

Madonna pretends to shoot audience despite ban

Image
Scotland – Apparently moving to Europe completely erased any trace of sensitivity in Madonna, because the 50-year-old singer went onstage at a concert in Scotland over the weekend waving revolvers and assault rifles in the wake of Friday’s shootings in Colorado, despite being asked nicely by the local cops not to do so. At her first show in Scotland ever, in Edinburgh, she joked the concert may be “cut off” because she was going to flout laws against waving dummy weapons put in place after the Dunblane massacre, a 1996 bloodbath in which a 43-year-old man walked into a primary school and killed 16 children and one adult before killing himself. In the concert, she points guns at the crowd and plays machine gun sound effects while digital blood splatters all over a giant screen onstage. Never mind this all happened Saturday, not even two days after t...

Black Teen, Victim of the Colorado Shooting who survived Stopped to Help Young Mother

Image
A Colorado teenager who survived the mass shooting at a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Aurora this morning helped keep a young mother, her young child and her 4-month-old infant safe even though he was injured himself. Jarell Brooks, 19, has been released from Denver General Hospital and is now recovering at home after he suffered a gunshot wound to the leg after James Holmes, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado, set off smoke bombs and opened fire on the unsuspecting audience. Holmes killed 12 people and injured at least 50 in the attack. He was quickly apprehended by authorities. Brooks said that when Holmes started shooting everyone scrambled for the exits. While trying to get out of the theater, he saw a woman, later identified as Patricia Legarreta, struggling to get herself and her two children out. He said he crawled on top of Legarreta in an attempt to push her and the kids out the doo...

New Planet Found, Smaller Than Earth, Orbiting Distant Star

Image
Thirty-three light-years away, in the constellation Leo the lion, astronomers say they have found a world considerably smaller than Earth , orbiting a dim red-dwarf star. That's something to think about. While scientists have confirmed the existence of more than 700 so-called exoplanets since 1995, most of them have been giant -- many considerably larger than Jupiter. This new world, say the researchers who found it, may be only 5,200 miles across, about two thirds as large as Earth. "People have been picking at the low-hanging fruit, since Jupiter-sized planets are easier to see," said Kevin Stevenson, the young researcher at the University of Central Florida who led the team making the find. "Now we're really pushing the limits of what our telescopes can find." The newly found world is, for now, called UCF-1.01, and Stevenson and his colleagues found it with NASA's Spitzer space telescope in Earth orbit. It orb...

Cannibal Cult Killed Seven Evil Sorcerers, Used Their Penises to Make Soup

Image
Papua New Guinea – 29 members of a militant group seeking revenge against rogue witch doctors were arrested by police in Papua New Guinea and charged with killing at least seven people. In addition to murdering the “evil sorcerers,” it is believed the cannibal cult also consumed portions of their victims’ brains and other organs, and prepared soup from their penises in an effort to become bulletproof. The anti-sorcerer group, which is believed to have as many as 1,000 active participants, was organized after witch doctors, who traditionally charge 1000 kina ($472), a pig, and a bag of rice to determine a cause of death or ward off evil spirits, began demanding sex as well. Many residents of Papua New Guinea believe natural causes are not sufficient to explain misfortune, illness, accidents, or death, but it conflicts with traditional ethics “for a sorcerer to have intercourse with a man’s wife or teenage daughter,” a local cult leader is quoted as saying.

BORNO DEPUTY GOV NARRATES HOW YESTERDAY'S BOMB ATTACK HAPPENED

iT Borno State Deputy Governor Alhaji Umar Zanna Mustapha yesterday narrated their ordeal after he, along with the Shehu of Borno, narrowly escaped a suicide bomb attack. Speaking to newsmen at the Government House after he (together with the Shehu) were whisked away by security operatives, the visibly shaken deputy governor said the attack was launched shortly after the Friday prayers when he and the monarch were exchanging pleasantries few metres away from the mosque. “We only walked about five steps outside the mosque when the suicide bomber exploded himself. When I saw blood all over my body, I thought I had lost one of my legs even though I was still standing. But the intensity of the blast had swept away one of my shoes,” he said. “It is by the grace of Allah that we are alive, otherwise we would have been dead by now,” he said. “Alhamdu-Lillah, both I and the Shehu, including members of our entourage were not injured. Accused eyelash thief spotted by eagle-eyed deputy

Image
Florida – A woman accused of not paying after getting false eyelashes applied appeared not to bat an eye in giving deputies apparent false names and birth dates as she was arrested, according to recently released affidavits. St. Lucie County Sheriff’s deputies started eyeing a woman later identified as Quatesha Tawanna Isaac, 25, after speaking with the owner of LA Nails in the 4500 block of North Kings Highway in Lakewood Park. The LA Nails owner said she adorned the woman’s peepers with $35 fake eyelashes. The LA Nails owner said the accused fake eyelash getter tried to pay but was told the store doesn’t take Discover cards. Meanwhile, the LA Nails owner said the fake eyelash getter said she’d go next door and get her money but didn’t return.

Secret Service investigating alleged threat by D.C. police officer against Michelle Obama

Image
First lady Michelle Obama speaks to supporters during a campaign event for her husband, President Barack Obama … A Washington, D.C. police officer has been removed from his unit and placed on leave over remarks he allegedly made about first lady Michelle Obama — but the Secret Service is downplaying the controversy. The Washington Post reports the officer who worked as a motorcycle escort for White House officials "allegedly said he would shoot the First Lady and then used his phone to retrieve a picture of the firearm he said he would use." The motorman reportedly made the comments Wednesday morning as several officers from the Special Operations Division discussed threats against the Obamas. Officials familiar with the situation say that it was a bad joke made by someone who should have known better, according to msnbc.com. "Pump the brakes on this one," a Secret Service official told NBC , saying the agency is not concerned t...

Obama: My Biggest mistake

Obama: Biggest mistake too much perspiration, not enough inspiration Call it "too much substance, not enough style?" President Barack Obama says his biggest mistake since getting to the White House three and a half years ago has been his tendency to tackle the job as national policy wonk rather than the inspiring figure he cut in the 2008 campaign. "When I think about what we've done well and what we haven't done well," the president told CBS television in an interview , "the mistake of my first term - couple of years - was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right." "And that's important. But the nature of this office is also to tell a story to the American people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism, especially during tough times," Obama said in an excerpt of the exchange with Charlie Rose. Presidents — politicians in general — tend to sidestep questions about thei...

Tom Cruise has telekinetic and telepathic powers?!

Image
The Church Of Scientology allegedly believes it’s most famous celebrity convert Tom Cruise has telekinetic and telepathic powers, it has been reported. Tom, 50, is the most famous follower of the religion and an investigation by Rolling Stone back in 2006 revealed that he had reached an advanced level of Scientology and was known as an ‘Operating Thetan’ or an ‘OT’. The author of the investigation, Janet Reitman, explained that OTs have total control over themselves and their environment. Following his split from Katie Holmes bizarre aspects of the church’s beliefs have emerged but this  latest revelation of Tom’s relationship with Scientology is perhaps the strangest yet. ‘OTs can allegedly move inanimate objects with their minds, leave their bodies at will and telepathically communicate with, and control the behaviour of, both animals and human beings.’ Tom, who is understood to be at the advanced stage of OT VII, has practised th...

Man accused of torturing wife, keeping her in chains for decade

Image
West Virginia – A West Virginia man is in custody after authorities say his wife made a desperate escape to a family crisis center after suffering a decade of abuse that included torture and being locked in chains. A criminal complaint says the 43-year-old victim was burned on her back and breasts with irons and frying pans, and her foot was smashed under farm equipment. She also allegedly delivered a stillborn child while in chains. She also gave birth to another infant who survived. Peter Lizon, 37, of Leroy was arrested and held in the South Central Regional Jail on $300,000 bond. He’s set to appear on a malicious wounding charge in Jackson County Magistrate Court. On June 18, while the wife, suspect and their infant were returning a rented farming machine and she walked away from the family, the criminal complaint said. She sought refuge in a nearby zomba dance facility and hid from her husband, before seeking transportation to a family crisis c...

Python found wrapped around baby’s foot in apartment

Image
Illinois – Police say a 2-foot-long ball python slithered its way into an Illinois apartment and wrapped itself around the foot of a sleeping 1-year-old boy and bit him on his left foot. Mattoon Police Department Deputy Chief Jason Taylor said the boy’s parents were awakened by the child’s noises to find the snake attacking their son about 11 p.m., the Mattoon Journal-Gazette & Times-Courier reported. The father, Devin Winans, used a blanket to pull the python off the child, and his mother took the boy to a health center for treatment of a bite mark, bruise and scratches, the newspaper reported. Investigators believe the python escaped from a neighboring apartment within the building, Taylor said. Police have not been able to find the owner.

Don’t confuse Keshi, Abigor tells Peterside

Image
Former spokesman of the Eagles and one time international, Idah Peterside, has advised Stephen Keshi not to rely on the local players, saying that they lacked the experience to shoulder the weight of national team. Idah’s position has strongly been condemned by chairman of Warri Wolves, Godwin Abigor, a keen follower of the national team and global football. “I’m reacting because Keshi may be confused by the likes of Idah Peterside. Idah has been living in South Africa for long and he has lost touch with the realities on ground,” Abigor said. He was reacting to Idah’s comment on Supersport’s popular programme, Soccer Africa. Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi with Home Based Super Eagles at a News Conference at the Eagles’ Camp in Abuja Abigor continued: “The best thing that has happened to our football in recent times is Keshi’s attention on the domestic league. The players he has di...

Catholic church blasts Lagos lawmakers over Cremation Bill

THE Catholic Church has asked the Lagos State House of Assembly to allow the dead rest in peace by throwing out its proposal to pass a bill legalising voluntary cremation of unclaimed dead bodies in the state-owned mortuaries. The bill seeking to legalise voluntary cremation of the dead and unclaimed corpses has already scaled the second reading on the floor of the House of Assembly. Entitled: A bill to legalise voluntary cremation of corpses  and unclaimed corpses in Lagos State,’’ the bill  was sponsored by the Chairman of the Assembly’s Committee on Health Care Services, Suru Avoseh. However, in a statement yesterday, the Administrator of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, His Eminence, Anthony Cardinal Okogie,  said it was totally against any move to legalize cremation or the desecration of human corpse in any guise as it believes in life after death. Cremation is the pr...

Borno: Gunmen Raid Houses, Slice Residents’ Throats

Barely 24 hours after the assassination of the General Manager of Borno Housing Corporation (BOHC) in Maiduguri, some suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, on Friday, attacked two houses in Abaganaram ward, slicing the throats of two residents. The attack occured at about a kilometre, East of the corporation’s office complex, where the slain general manager, Isa Madu Ngaram, was killed by suspected gunmen on Wednesday. A resident of the area, who craved anonymity, alleged that “three suspected gunmen walked into the area and demanded whereabouts of the residents of the houses. “But none of us responded to the suspects’ enquiries, as all of us rushed into our houses because of the 7 pm to 6 am curfew. Two hours later, we heard wailing, without the sounds of gun shots and firing experienced during previous exchanges of gunfire between the Joint Task Force (JTF) and the terrorists in Abaganaram and Budum wards,” he said. Speaking on the incide...

Arsenal cancel pre-season trip to Nigeria

Arsenal have cancelled their pre-season trip to Nigeria where they were scheduled to play a friendly with the West African country's national team. "We could not get comfortable on everything needed to satisfy our requirements," said Arsenal marketing director Angus Kinnear. The club are now planning to visit the country next year instead. In a statement on the Arsenal website, Kinnear added: "Bringing a top-level club to an international market is always complicated and logistically challenging. Image
A two-year-old boy sat up in his coffin and asked for water before laying back down again lifeless, according to a Brazilian news website. In a case that seems almost too incredible to be true, ORM claimed that Kelvin Santos stopped breathing during treatment for pneumonia at a hospital in Belem, northern Brazil. He was declared dead at 7.40pm on Friday and his body was handed over to his family in a plastic bag. The child's devastated family took him home where grieving relatives held a wake throughout the night, with the boy's body laid in an open coffin. But an hour before his funeral was due to take place on Saturday the boy apparently sat up in his coffin and said: 'Daddy, can I have some water?'. The boy's father, Antonio Santos, said: 'Everybody started to scream, we couldn't believe our eyes. Then we thought a miracle had taken place and our boy had come back to life. 'Then Kelvin just laid back dow...

A 3-year-old Murrieta boy ended up in the hospital after he got into his grandma’s special chocolate chip cookies while no one was looking. Little did he know, the cookies were not for kids. They were laced with a medical marijuana concentrate, police said. The grandmother, who has been diagnosed with cancer, had a doctor’s recommendation for marijuana to treat her pain and to help her sleep, Sgt. Phil Gomez said. Days before, she had baked THC oil into a batch of cookies and tucked them away in a garage refrigerator. THC is the active chemical in marijuana. The boy fell asleep about 5 p.m., Gomez said. Pope Fires Slovak Bishop in Rare Show of Authority

Image
Pope Benedict XVI fired a 52-year-old Slovak bishop for apparently mismanaging his diocese in a rare show of papal power over bishops that could have implications for U.S. sex abuse cases. Usually when bishops run into trouble — either for alleged moral lapses or management problems — they are persuaded by the Vatican to resign. But Benedict has become increasingly willing to forcibly remove bishops who refuse to step down, sacking three others in the past year alone. His willingness to do so raises questions about whether he would take the same measures against bishops who covered up for sexually abusive priests. So far he has not. In the most notable case to date, Benedict fired Bishop William Morris of Toowoomba, Australia, last year after he called for the church to consider ordaining women and married men. He also removed a Congolese bishop for management problems in his diocese and an Italian one in May for si...
